A Breather
I had a rough week but had awesome help from awesome friends (you know who you are), and an insanely busy 2 weeks at work - a visit from the Canadian boss, a community event co-organised with the International Women’s Association, plus training an intern from Singapore and a new staff. I joked with my boss that “I didn’t even get to use the toilet!”. I’m a bit bummed...

The Darjeeling Limited
I just watched The Darjeeling Limited, and I absolutely loved every bit of it - from the quirky characters played by Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman to the quick cameo by Natalie Portman (!!), to the beautiful scenery of India, the culture and colours portrayed, the music, and my gosh, those retro suitcases with pictures of wild animals on them are the best set of suitcases...

Seasons and Fruits
I miss seasons and fruits. Together. The joy of knowing grapes are in season during autumn. And having nectarines and peaches every day knowing that soon enough they’ll be expensive and I’d have to wait yet another year. Oranges in spring - and knowing when my favourite season is. Mandarins in winter. Summer passionfruits (the best!). And R2E2 mangoes from Queensland. Now that I live...
